"A little sippy sippy" was the cause of Kanye West's spectacular rant on stage at the MTV music awards in Denmark last week, according to a recent interview he did with MTV.
"I don't have anything against the group that won," he later added, "I'm gonna download their album right now. I didn't mean to be offensive in any way. I love you guys. I never heard of you (but) I am your friend."West's rant last week at the Danish award ceremony caused more than just the occasional chuckle throughout the world's music fans, when he claimed "If I don't win, the awards show loses credibility. Nothing against you, but hell man."
At the American Music Awards in 2004, he said "I was the best new artist this year," and "I got 10 Grammy nominations, and won three, even if I should have won all 10" after losing the Best New Artist award to Gretchen Wilson.
The song that won Best Video in Copenhagen this year was a remix of a Simian song from 2002 by Justice.
