The latest installment of awesome fuzzbox rock ‘n’ soul to come from the demented brain of Jon Spencer is Heavy Trash, and they’re heading to Australia.
The band name could just as easily describe the genre they play and with their third album ‘Midnight Soul Serenade’ just on the horizon, they’re coming to Australia to play it for you.Jon Spencer has been in some ballsy acts over the last couple of decades that fuse bluesy roots music with balls out rock ‘n’ roll such as Pussy Galore, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and his original band Boss Hog who had the awesomely simply ‘I Dig You’ back in the 90s.
