Hall & Oates will have their first box set next month. It will contain 4 CDs and 74 tracks including early material and unreleased songs.
Before they were Hall & Oates, Daryl was in The Temptones and John was in The Masters, two Philadelphia R&B groups in the late 60s.The ‘Do What You Want Be Who You Are’ box will include two songs from The Temptones and one from The Masters.
The set will also include the track ‘I Want Someone’, recorded for Daryl’s internet TV show Live From Daryl’s House.
Previously unreleased songs include ‘All The way From Philadelphia’, five tracks recorded at the New Victoria Theatre in London in 1975, and a reduxed version of the 1972 track ‘Dreamer’.
