A Los Angeles judge has delayed sentencing Chris Brown saying she wants a guarantee that Brown will do hard labour community service such as roadside clean-ups or other hard labour.
Judge Patricia Schnegg does not want to see Brown get off easy. She wants to make him work hard for 1400 hours for bashing his then girlfriend Rihanna. The judge does not want to see Brown pay for his crime by doing a benefit show, for instance. She wants to see him get his hands dirty.
Brown plea-bargained for 5 years probation, 180 days of community service and 52 weeks of counselling. The judge thinks that is too light.
She has delayed sentencing until August 27 to await specific documents from the State of Virginia to detail exactly what brown will be doing.
