Ricky Wilson was injured this week during a Green Day gig.
The Kaiser Chiefs singer has broken a rib during a support performance for Green Day in New York.The Kaiser Chiefs frontman was injured on Tuesday evening after his energetic dancing caused him to fall from the stage.
A statement from the band said: "Ricky Wilson fell jumping between the barrier and the stage, breaking a rib in the process whilst the band had been playing.
It also explained that the band will still fulfil the remaining dates of their American tour with the punk rockers.
It added: "The rest of the shows will still go ahead as they criss-cross America - Ricky's had treatment and decided the tour goes on.'
The band are also due to play the Reading and Leeds festivals on the 28th and 30th of August.
