Michael Jackson To Perform Again

Thu, 09 Nov 2006 02:54:14 +1100

Organisers of the upcoming World Music Awards have announced that Michael Jackson will be making his comeback performance at the event.

The announcement has taken many in the music world by surprise - it was generally thought that Jackson's performance days were well behind him.

Jackson will perform his hit 'Thriller', on the 25th anniversary of its original release. Jackson had already been announced to be appearing at the ceremony, where he will be accepting the Diamond Award, for selling over 100 million albums.

A PR spokeswoman for the event confirmed Jackson's performance, saying, "Yes, it's his first performance in a long time. It's something of a comeback if you like."

Jackson - who is believed to be living in Ireland at the moment with his three children - has previously said that his relocation to Europe was intended to help resurrect his music career. All will be revealed, then, at the event to take place at London's Earl's Court on November 15.
