If you are in the Memphis area and just happened to have a set of gold clubs in the car, rock on up to Mirimichi golf course. It is co-owned by Justin Timberlake.
To celebrate the opening, Justin was at the course to tee-off at 7.30am. He played his early round of 18 holes with about 50 onlookers.The idea to start a “green” golf course came from his dad. “I was able to pose the question “is it possible for a golf course to actually be green?” which is eco-friendly. As it turns out, it is,” he said at the opening. “It is amazing to do something to give back to your community in the place I grew up in. To put an idea into the world and see it come to fruition”.
Mirimchi is just outside Memphis, Tennessee.
