Susan Boyle was talking today, exclusively to Meredith Vierea for the NBC Today Show.
The interview filmed in the London studio where Susan is recording her debut album.Meredith commented on the new look Susan at the start of the interview. “I just a slight one. I brush up quite well,” Susan responded.
Talking about the effect of her life Susan said, “It’s unbelievable. It is indescribable. It is like being plucked from obscurity”.
Meredith asked how she felt when people snickered when she walked on stage for that first time and she answered simply, “Never judge a book by its cover”.
She described her sudden fame saying; “it felt like a demolition ball” and of the well-publicised breakdown and rest in a mental home, she said, “That was seen as necessary at the time. I needed a rest. I needed to get away”.
The Susan Boyle album will be out soon and we know it will not be an album of show tunes. “It is something of a surprise,” was all she would say.
