Germany's Phoenix has let the cat out of the bag about the first Australian V Festival by announcing the dates on their official website.
According to Phoenix, the V Festival will take place in March and April in Australia.The first Australian date will March 31st in Sydney. The festival will then travel to the Gold Coast for April 1 and play Melbourne on April 3rd at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
Prior to the Festival, Phoenix will also play their own club show in Sydney on March 30th.
The four Phoenix members are Thomas Mars, Laurent Brancowitz, Deck D'Arcy and Christian Mazzalai.
They are originally from Paris but moved to Berlin to record their debut album at the Planet Roc studios.
