Mariah Carey is upset with her performance at the Michael Jackson Memorial and feels she let everyone down.
“Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me,” she Twittered. “I could barely keep myself from crying”.Mariah’s voice cracked as she started to sing ‘I’ll Be There’ just as she looked down and saw the Jackson coffin.
“Sorry that I wasn’t able to pull it together and really do it right but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me”.
Mariah had the most difficult spot at the Memorial. Her performance was the first.
“One thing I know is, we will never have to say goodbye to MJ. His legacy lives through his music and millions of people. He inspired with his timeless music. He will be forever in our hearts,” she said.
