On July 15, Melbourne theatre company The Production Company will premiere its latest production `Crazy For You`.
‘Crazy For You’ is the new Gershwin musical, based on ‘Girl Crazy’.Christopher Parker stars as playboy and banking fortune heir Bobby Child who walks away from the family fortune to be in show business.
Bobby escapes from New York to Nevada and from his fianc??e Irene, played by Chloe Dallimore.
He meets Polly Baker (Natalie O’Donnell), falls madly in love but she is going out with Lank Hawkins (Chris Horsey).
The music features the Gershwin classics ‘I Got Rhythm’, ‘Embraceable You’ and ‘They Can’t Take That Away From Me’.
‘Crazy For You’ will run at the State Theatre in Melbourne from July 15-19.
