A power drug called Diprivan has been confiscated from the house Michael Jackson was living in at the time of his death.
Diprivan, also known as Propofol, is only used in hospitals and often for terminally ill patients. It is also commonly used in veterinary medicine.Cherilyn Lee, a nurse for Jackson, claims Jackson took the drug regularly and said that four days before the singer’s death she received a call from someone in the house and heard Michael in the background saying that one side of his body was hot and the other side cold.
Those are classic after-effects of the drug.
Dr. Sanjay Gupta, appearing on Larry King Live, said that the drug is only to be administered in a hospital, never in a house. He said he creates a medically induced coma.
Cherilyn Lee told King she told she explained the dangers to Jackson. He replied, “as long as I am being monitored I am okay. Can you find someone to monitor me?” She replied “no”.
Results from Jackson’s autopsy are expected to take another 3 weeks after toxic substances were discovered in the body on initial examination.
