Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger has co-written the first song from the next Daughtry album.
‘No Surprise’ is the first single from the ‘Leave This Town’ album for Daughtry.Daughtry says the song was inspired by his hometown. “The place you call home can cause heartbreak just like a bad relationship,” he said in a statement. “Places change just like people change. Sometimes the best thing you can do is leave.”
The album was recorded in LA with Howard Benson (All-American Rejects, My Chemical Romance).
The video for ‘No Surprise’ was directed by Nathan Cox (Foo Fighters, The Fray).
Daughty’s ‘Leave This Town’ album will be released in July.
