Susan Boyle came off stage just hours ago after performing for the very first time as a professional singer.
The Britain’s Got Talent sensation took to the stage of the Birmingham National Indoor Arena just after 9am and performed her two TV songs ‘Memory’ and ‘I Dreamed A Dream’.Boyle, who was runner-up in the talent quest, was greeted with thunderous applause as she walked on stage and received a standing ovation from the audience at the end of her two songs.
Just one week ago, Boyle was released from hospital after suffering a breakdown following the final show.
The Scottish spinster was minus a major makeover but did have a new stylish hair-do and she wore a new sequined dress.
Last night (Friday, June 12, 2009) was the first night of the Britain’s Got Talent tour.
