New Kids On The Block will kick off their Full Service World Tour later today in Atlanta.
The band will play 30 North American dates and then head to Australia for the second leg of the tour starting on August 1.Australian dates will start in Perth and then travel through Adelaide, Melbourne, Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney and Wollongong.
Word of the New Kids On The Block reunion surfaced in 2007. In September 2008, they released their comeback album ‘The Block’.
The band released their previous album ‘Face In Music’ in 1994 but split in 1995. Jonathan Knight was first to go after suffering panic attacks and anxiety. The group broke up soon after.
The first reunion tour started in September 8. Lady GaGa and Nastasha Bedingfield were the support acts. As well as the 41 US dates, they also played 7 shows in Canada and shows in France, The Netherlands and Germany.
