Dallas Paxton, keyboard player for Ground Components has issued a plea to whoever stole the bands equipment to return it or if anyone has any information about the stolen gear to let them know.
The gear was stolen from the band's 4x4 Ford Maverick in North Fitzroy on the corner of Park and Best in the early hours of Monday morning."The thieves snatched thousands of dollars worth of gear" Dallas said.
Stolen items were:
Black studio rack holder
Alexis Reverb Unit (in rack)
Behringer Sound Enhancer (in rack)
Digidesign Digi002 Recording Interface (in rack)
Yamaha Compressor
8-Channel rack-mounted mixer
Beyer M88 mic (in electrovoice case)
2 x Takkstar professional condenser mics in box
Lacie External hard-drive
Small brown suitcase containing 10 x assorted leads
Green suitcase with 10 x mic leads
Power adaptor for Apple i-book
