Aussie popstar/actress Sophie Monk has been taken to hospital after plowing her Toyota Prius into a Ford Explorer on La Brea Avenue in Hollywood on Thursday.
Monk was visibly shaken when she was taken from the mangled car and then taken to hospital in an ambulance.Both cars were towed away after the accident.
The Queensland star first rose to fame off the back off the reality TV show Popstars. It earned her a gig in girl-group Bardot.
Sophie moved to LA and pursued an acting career. She has appeared in big budget flicks such as ‘Click’ and ‘Date Movie’.
She became a fav of the tabloids after dating Jude Law and Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden. She got engaged to Madden but the couple split before the wedding. More recently, she was dating Ryan Seacreast.
Sophie Monk released a solo album ‘Calender Girl’ in 2003.
