Let`s face it. Britain`s Got Talent has turned into the modern day freak show. The latest freak is Greg Pritchard. He was the 21st century equivalent of the bearded lady.
All-male Pritchard sang like a female opera star. He was bizarre. he has a six octave range. That is more than Mariah Carey. All three judges approved of him. Of course they would. Freaks equal ratings.
Pritchard sang Nessa Dorma, the same song Paul Potts sang, and won with two years ago.
I don’t think the judges knew where to head with this one.
Judge Piers Morgan said: ‘That was one of the most extraordinary things I have ever heard. It was a great act.’
Simon Cowell said: ‘It was like a dog meowing, it just shouldn’t do that. But would I like a dog that meowed? Yes I would. You puzzle me Greg.’
So now, Greg Pritchard will go on to compete with our first and favorite freak Susan Boyle.
It has sure become an interesting season.
Meanwhile, Susan Boyle will open up her house and welcome in the Oprah show tomorrow. The show ‘The World’s Got Talent’ will also feature Simon Cowell and focus on international talent shows like Australian made Asian talent quest Sutasi.
