After scouring countries across Asia for new music talent in 2007 and 2008, Sutasi will return for a second season in 2009.
Sutasi set out to discover artists in Asia that have what it takes to take on the global market. Some of the acts from season one Sutasi found were Tookoo from China, Swarathma from India and Zelle from the Phillippines.Since launching in 2007, thousands of Asian acts have auditioned for Sutasi.
Unlike the reality TV show contests, Sutasi looks for both solo artists and bands as well as songwriters. It is all about the music.
The 2009 finalists will be taken to the United States for the filming of the Grand Finale.
