Alice Cooper is coming back to Australia. While we all know we`re not worthy, we`re not worthy, Undercover has decided to pay homage to out hero by bringing you the classic clips of Alice Cooper all of this week.
Today, fly the Delorean back to 1973 for the album ‘Billion Dollar Babies’.‘Billion Dollar Babies’ was the 6th Alice Cooper album and was released with the original Alice Cooper band featuring Michael Bruce, Neal Smith and Dennis Dunaway.
The album peaked at number one in the USA and generated 4 hit singles, including ‘Elected’, ‘Hello Hooray’, ‘No More Mr Nice Guy’ and the title track.
The original vinyl album featured a full-size billion dollar bill.
Guitar Hero II featured the title track but stuffed up the name. On the XBox version of Guitar Hero II, it was listed as Million Dollar Babies.
The title track from the album was a duet with Donovan.
The album was produced by Bob Ezrin right at the start of his career. He went on to produce Pink Floyd (The Wall), Deftones ‘Saturday Night Wrist’ and U2 and Green Day ‘The Saints Are Coming’.
