Ronan Keating filmed the video for his next single `This Is Your Song` in Sydney during his recent visit to Australia.
‘This Is Your Song’ is the only original on his new album ‘Songs For My Mother’, recorded as a tribute to his mother who died last year.The video was shot at Camelot House in the outer Sydney suburb of Camden. It is the same house used in the Baz Luhrmann movie ‘Australia’.
For ‘Songs For My Mother’, Ronan gathered songs from artists such as Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley and Joni Mitchell, songs he remembers his mother listening to while he was growing up.
The album is his sixth solo album. It debuted at number one this week in Australia.
Ronan is back in Ireland now. On the weekend he ran a marathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK and the Marie Keating Foundation, established in the name of his mother.
