Brody Dalle, the Aussie wife of wife of Josh Homme and singer for The Distillers, has a ne album with Spinnerette on the way.
Dalle will release self-titled ‘Spinnerette’ album in June.All songs were written by Brody and produced by Alain Johannes. It will be her first release since The Distillers ‘Coral Fang’ in 2003.
She recorded the album at Pink Duck studio, the studio in her home in Los Angeles. It will feature appearances from Tony Bevilacqua (The Distillers) and Jack Irons (Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers).
So far the only music from Spinnerette was a 7” vinyl called ‘Sex Bomb’ on Valentines Day. A new version of that song will be on the album.
