In true Neil Young fashion, Young`s film company Shakey Pictures has dropped a surprise 43 minute Blu-Ray on fans.
`Get Around` is the footage of Neil Young cruising a freeway in Texas in his Lincvolt and singing all of the songs from his new album ‘Fork In The Road’.Young was in Austin for a few days at the start of SXSW to film the videos. In the DVD, you get to go on the drive with Young in the Lincvolt while he sings the songs to you.
The Lincvolt is the 1959 Lincoln that Young has had converted into a electric car. It asks the question “why do you have to drive an ugly Prius when we can drive a environmentally friendly work of art.
Young shot ‘Get Around’ on the Texas Highway between La Grange and Austin. It features all of the songs from the upcoming Fork In The Road album and the bonus track ‘Get Around’
