The first video from Russell Morris’ ‘Jumpstart Diary’ has been uploaded to YouTube.
Morris and band filmed the video for ‘Get Your Love Right’ at the Kew RSL in Melbourne on February 22nd, 2009.‘Jumpstart Diary’ is Russell’s first studio album since ‘A Thousand Suns’ in 1991.
The Aussie music legend is known for the 60s hit ‘The Real Thing’ produced by Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum, as well as ‘Wings Of An Eagle’, ‘Rachel’ and ‘Live With Friends’.
In 2000, ‘The Real Thing’ and ‘Wings Of An Eagle’ were including in the movie ‘The Dish’. Kylie Minogue also covered ‘The Real Thing’ for the slasher movie ‘Cut’ and Midnight Oil had a go at it on their acoustic album of the same name.
Russell’s ‘Jumpstart Diary’ album will be in store for Record Store Day Australia on April 18.
