Michael Jackson is going to be "Jungle Boy" for his UK shows.
Jackson has requested a menagerie of animals for his jungle-themed London concerts. The King of Pop has asked organisers of his 50-date residency at the O2 Arena to provide snakes, a panther, tropical birds and three monkeys for the set.
And he has reportedly decided that the only way to make his grand entrance is to ride an elephant on stage.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "He hopes to make it the most spectacular gig ever. For the jungle section, he wants to ride out on an African elephant with panthers led on gold chains.
"Parrots and other birds will fly behind him. If it goes to plan it will look incredible."
The 50-year-old singer is also hoping to convince 100 Masai warriors to travel to the capital to take part in his shows.
But insiders have said that his managers are unhappy with his zoo plan especially because of the additional costs involved.
They are also worried about breaching animal welfare laws which ban the use of non-domestic animals on stage.
