Lou Reed, Jane’s Addiction’s Stephen Perkins, Aaron Neville and Living Color’s Vernon Reid are just some of the stars lined up for Sara Wasserman’s next album ‘Solid Ground’.
Sara is the daughter of Grammy Awards winning bass player Rob Wasserman. He has played on albums by Van Morrison, Lou Reed, Rickie Lee Jones and Elvis Costello.Other guests on Sara’s album include Christian McBride and DJ Logic.
The album features the interesting inclusion of a cover of the Hall & Oates classic ‘Sara Smile’. Vernon Reid and her dad Rob play on that one.
‘Solid Ground’ will be released in June.
