Be careful at those traffic lights. The Lincvolt, that big, classic American car turned an environmental hero, is being driven around the Texas city of Austin with Neil Young at the wheel.
Young is in Austin to talk up a few things, one being the long awaited release of his Archive series.As part of SXSW, he will unveil the first look at the new Jonathan Demme documentary ‘The Neil Young Trunk Show’ featuring a performance from Young from his recent tour.
Upcoming, Young also the Fork in the Road album to launch. It is the soundtrack to his other movie Lincvolt, about the car.
Demme directed Young’s ‘Year of the Horse’ and ‘Heart of Gold’ movies.
What is amazing about the unveiling of the Neil Young Trunk Show is that the movie is yet-to-be finished. Demme will show the unfinished film as part of the SXSW music conference on Saturday afternoon.
Earlier that day, Shakey Pictures head L.A. Johnson will talk about the Archive series at the Austin Convention Center.
