A one-off supergroup including members of Spiderbait, Jet and the Living End will gather for a free show for Earth Day in Melbourne on March 28.
The core band will feature Ash Naylor (Paul Kelly), Wally Meanie (Meanies), Matt Cotter (Even) and Bruce Haymes (Renee Geyer) joined by guest singers belting out ONE TIME ONLY fav cover choices such as ‘Gimme Shelter’.The songs played will be sympathetic to the global theme.
Fronting the band you will hear Paris Wells, Kram (Spiderbait), Chris Cheney (Living End), Nic Cestor (Jet), Renee Geyer and Vika & Linda.
Peter Garrett will be on stage at a rock show again as well, but he won’t be performing. He will be speaking about the environment.
8000+ people will be able to attend the free show at Melbourne’s Federation Square.
The entire concert will be powered bicycle power. 300 bikes will generate the energy for the show.
