The Laneway Festival's third incarnation was announced today, bringing with it an array of indie bands from all over the world to play in the dank settings of Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne's laneways.
The festival, which takes place in February and March, received rave reviews around the world for its originality, and the coolness that oozes out of the uber-stylish crowd down the drains adorning the venue.Bands confirmed for the 2007 festival are: Yo La Tango, Peter, Bjorn and John, The Sleepy Jackson, Camera Obscura, Love Is All, Fionn Regan, Archie Bronson Outfit, The Walkmen, Youth Group, The Temper Trap, Macromatics, Ground Components and Midnight Juggernauts.
Tickets are on sale Thursday November 2, and all events are 18+. Dates are:
Saturday February 24 - St. Jeromes, Caledonian Lane and The Lounge, Melbourne
Saturday March 3 - The Zoo and Winn Street, Melbourne
Sunday March 4 - Reiby Place and Macquarie Park, Sydney
