U2 went to school this week, rocking Fordham University in New York.
The Irish band had a week long promo blitz on New York this week, including a 5 night stint on the David Letterman show.Yesterday (March 6, 2009) the band went back to school to play at the uni.
"I'm so excited to be here," U2 drummer Larry Mullen told the crowd. "But I'm so pleased for my dad because he's gonna see this sometime soon, and he's gonna say, 'My son Larry finally made it to college.'"
U2 played a six song set for the uni.

The album No Line On The Horizon was released this week.
It will debut at number one in Australia on Sunday’s chart and in the US is also expected to top the chart with sales over 400,000.
