Michael Jackson will return to the stage for at least ten concerts in London from July.
Jackson announced today (March 5) that he would hold his ‘This Is It’ comeback shows at London’s O2 Stadium.While ten concerts have been confirmed initially, 30 are expected to have been scheduled.
The concerts will mark Jackson’s first major event since his child molestation allegations and will be his first major shows since the HIStory tour from 1996 and 1997.
Jackson is in London today for the announcement. The official press release is expected shortly after the London press conference today at 4pm London time.
Prince played 21 nights at the O2 in 2007. Britney Spears will do 8 shows there in June.
