John Mayer Twitters About Mick Jagger Fame and Poop

By Paul Cashmere

Apart from being a prolific Twitterer, John Mayer is also a deep and meaningful thinker, especially when it comes to Mick Jagger and poop.

At his Twitter page, Mayer dropped, “Saw Mick Jagger at the VF party the other night and thought, 'Mick Jagger hasn't gotten less famous, but fame has gotten less Mick Jagger.”

Mayer is talking about the Vanity Fair party he attended in Los Angeles last week. We take it he means they don’t make rock stars like they used to.

The Vanity Fair party was one of those places to be seen. John was reported in the LA Times under the heading “Romantic moments: Jennifer Aniston was glued to boyfriend John Mayer all night”.

Also spotted at the party was Robert De Niro chatting with Elvis Costello, Sacha Baron Cohen and Jerry Seinfeld deep in thought, Madonna with her manager Guy Oseary and Elton John chatting with Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner.

Oh yeah, the poop thing ...

Yesterday, Mayer left fans with the profound “Coming up on 50,000 followers... Thinking I should put a little more effort into this.... Ah, hell with it. Hey everyone, I just pooped!!!”

And that folks is the latest thought from the brain of John C. Mayer.
