So the all-new Wolfmother is back on the road. Andrew Stockdale road-tested his new band last weekend with shows in Sydney and Brisbane.
The band performed under the name White Feather, a tongue-in-cheek reference to 70s Aussie band Blackfeather. One of their new songs was titled ‘White Feather’. They also performed the new ‘Pilgram’, ‘Phoenix’ and ‘Far Away’.Wolfmother is now a 4-piece. The shows introduced the new line-up of Aidan Nemeth on guitar, Ian Peres on bass and keys and Dave Atkins on drums.
Wolfmother disintegrated in August last year after a hostile takeover by Stockdale ousted fellow founding members Chris Ross and Myles Heskett.
The next scheduled performance by Wolfmother is March 22 in Adelaide.
