Counting Crows have already been announced as the support act for The Who during their Australian tour in March, but today it was announced that Melbourne will get a theatre show from the band - the band’s only Australian headliner.
Adam Duritz and co. will take charge of the slanted stage at St. Kilda’s famed Palais Theatre on Friday March 27.Melbourne is the chosen one for the headline show because it is here that The Who are performing at the Grand Prix and not doing their own show, so the Counting Crows had to fill their time somehow.
Tickets are on sale on February 2.
