Kelly Osbourne has been arrested after she was said to have attacked a reporter last year.
The 24-year-old was released on bail over the incident in which she slapped the showbiz correspondent in a London nightclub.Gossip columnist Zoe Griffin claimed that the daughter of Sharon and Ozzy hit her across the face over a piece she wrote mocking Osbourne's model boyfriend Luke Worrall.
In the piece, Griffin claimed that Worrall had to ask how an earthquake was caused.
In another article published last August, Griffin said she was approached in the Punk nightclub by Osbourne who took offence with the previous story.
Griffin quoted Osbourne as saying, "I have an issue with you. My boyfriend knows what an earthquake is and everyone has been laughing at him and he's upset."
Griffin added: "That's when I felt a hard slap to my right cheekbone."
A spokeswoman for Scotland Yard said today: "I can confirm that a 24-year-old woman attended a central London police station by appointment at 3pm on January 2.
"She was arrested for common assault relating to an alleged incident in Soho in the early hours of 29th August 2008. She was bailed to attend a central London police station on a date in March."
A rep for Osbourne had no comment.
