Noel Gallagher has recruited a DJ friend to remix the next single for Oasis.
Gaz Cobain from The Amorphous Androgynous was asked by Noel turn his hand to 'Falling Down', the next single to be taken from Oasis's latest album Dig Out Your Soul.Writing on his MySpace blog, Cobain said: "Noel Gallagher rang in to the Automobile Associationheadquarters personally today, and what a thoroughly nice chap he is too.
"He wants us to remix the next Oasis single, 'Falling Down', from 'Dig Out Your Soul', giving us carte-blanche to do what the f*** we want."
On his official blog, Gallagher said the The Amorphous Androgynous' 2008 album 'A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding In Your Mind (Vol 1. Space Rock)' was "one of the best things I've ever, ever heard".
Cobain added that Gallagher had ordered ten copies of the album to give to friends as Christmas presents, including two for Paul Weller.
The Amorphous Androgynous are now set to DJ at Oasis' aftershow parties when the band plays London's Wembley Stadium this July.
