The classic Alice Cooper line-up featuring Alice, Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway and Neil Smith will get together for a signing session in March.
This was the line-up featured on the albums up to and including 1973’s ‘Billion Dollar Babies’.Cooper, Bruce Dunaway and Smith with Glen Buxton released ‘Killer’, ‘Love It To Death’ and then ‘School’s Out’ as Alice Cooper the band. Alice Cooper went solo with the name for 1975’s ‘Welcome To My Nightmare’.
Buxton died in 1997.
These days, Bruce tours with his own band, The Michael Bruce Group. Dunaway released a solo album, The Dennis Dunaway Project in 2006. It was his first album in nearly 30 years. Smith, whose sister is married to Dunaway, has been selling Real Estate in New England since the early 80s.
There is no talk of a reunion show.
The four members of the original Alice Cooper band will appear at the Monster Mania Conference at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey on March 13, 14 and 15.
