Deep Purple's Ian Gillan is said to be writing a book, according to a mailout from deep-purple.net.
Gillan - who co-authored autobiography 'Child In Time' with Dave Cohen in the mid-1990s - is currently working on a compilation of writings called 'Smoke This'.According to the mailout, 'Smoke This' is "a collection of material posted by Ian on his website over the past few years - his comments on subjects various, lyrics, poems and images."
The statement also noted that Gillan is working on a new autobiography, and already has a couple of chapters under his belt.
