There will be new music from a Jagger in 2009 and we don`t mean Mick. Jade Jagger, the daughter of the Rolling Stones lead lungs, has a music thing going on.
Jade’s label is Jezebel. (Jezebel is her middle name). It is a blend of music, fashion and art.The Princess of rock royalty started the music and fashion label and dance parties in 2007 off the back of being asked to host parties around the world.
From her party mode, Jade started Jezebel Soundsystem to showcase new artists to the fashion community. That is where Lily Allen and Estelle got their one of their first breaks.
The parties have featured Mark Ronson, Clark Kent, Dan Greenpeace, Kraft Kutz, Audio Bullys and Groove Armada. Fatboy Slim, 2manyDJs and Tayo have also fronted up for gigs.
Jade is now working with Jaguar Skills, an East London DJ and D.R.W, Jezebel’s main DJ.
The next Jezebel Party will be on January 23, 2009 at Bread and Butter in Barcelona, Spain.
