Panic! At The Disco have taken a swipe at M??tley Cr??e, claiming the ageing rockers are stealing their ideas.
Speaking to Undercover, Panic! Frontman Brendon Urie claimed the Cr??e were "stingy" for not allowing the up-and-comers to use their circus tent for their upcoming, circus-themed November-December tour.Bassist Jon Walker went on to claim that the band stole some of Panic!'s performers. Drummer Spencer Smith elaborated, "We took some performers out on the last US tour, and I we heard that some of them are now working for the M??tley Cr??e tour, and they said that the reason they were hired is that one of the crew members from M??tley Cr??e read a review of our show that said we pulled off everything that M??tley Cr??e was trying to do. So I guess they said, "we've got millions of dollars, we'll just buy what they have!"
"Yeah, 'we'll just buy our ideas off them...'" laughed guitarist Ryan Ross.
Smith went on to have a joking jibe at the Cr??e, with, "When you're like, 50 years old, you can't come up with any good ideas anyway. You've just gotta pay for other people's ideas."
Walker, perhaps concerned at the prospect of coming face-to-face with Tommy Lee at some point in the future, chimed in with his own disclaimer, "Hey, I'm not talking trash on M??tley Cr??e, though!"
