U2 will release their 12th album `No Line On The Horizon` on March 3rd.
The album will come 5 years after the last U2 release ‘How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb`.U2 recorded the album in various locations starting in Fez Morocco a year ago, then heading to their own studio in Dublin, then New York’s Platinum Sound Recording Studios and then finishing it off at Olympics Studios in London.
The historic Olympic Studios was where the Stones recorded all of their classic albums of the 60s. Only this week, news surfaced that EMI was planning to shut the studio down because it was no longer profitable.
‘No Line On The Horizon’ reunites U2 with Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois (The Unforgettable Fire/ The Joshua Tree). U2 stalwart Steve Lillywhite (Achtung Baby/ All That You Can’t Leave Behind) is also working on the album.
