Former Taxiride/Future Role Models frontman Jason Singh will have a new sound in the New Year. He has signed a deal with Neon.
Neon is the dance label of Grant Smillie from TV Rock fame. The first release will be ‘The World As We Know It’ by Todd Watson Vs Jason Singh.“We bought Todd in to do a remix of ‘The World As We Know It’ as a b-side for Future Role Models but it was a better version,” Jason tells Undercover News. “It rose to the top”.
The new version for Neon has a completely new vocal.
Jason Singh signed the deal with Neon this morning in Melbourne.
He was a founding member for Taxiride. That band had 7 top 40 hits in Australia including ‘Get Set’, ‘Everywhere You Go’ and ‘Creepin’ Up Slowly’.
He then formed Future Role Models and recorded an early version of ‘The World As We Know It’ with Snoop Dogg.
“The great thing about signing with Neon is that it gives me the opportunity to explore new music horizons,” Jase says.
Neon will release ‘The World As We Know It’ as Todd Watson Vs Jason Singh at the end of January.
