Morrissey will turn 50 with a hometown gig in Manchester.
Morrissey has unveiled details of a trio of shows next year, including a hometown turn on his 50th birthday.The Smiths' former frontman will perform at London's Royal Albert Hall on 11 May, and Manchester Apollo on 22 and 23 May.
He will celebrate the milestone birthday on the date of the first Manchester show.
Morrissey's new studio album, Years Of Refusal, is due for release on 16 February.
