Despite the new Josh Groban album `A Collection` not being released in America, Josh fans Stateside are finding that the 2CD album is just as easy, and also just as cheap to buy online from Australia.
Online retailer Chaos.com is reporting excellent sales of the American star’s latest release fueled by a weak Australian dollar making the purchase all that more attractive. At $25.32 Australia, American sales are minus the Australian tax bringing the price down to $AUD 22.79. Add 7 bucks postage and then convert the price to US dollars.
At the current exchange rate, the price of ‘A Collection’ delivered to your door anywhere in the USA works out at under $US20.
It is indeed strange that the album was not released in America. Groban’s Christmas album last year was the biggest selling album of 2007 in the USA.
Groban isn't the only artists service the USA from Australia. AC/DC's Wal-Mart only album 'Black Ice' and Guns n' Roses' Best Buy only release 'Chinese Democracy' have also been big export sales items from Australia,
