Faith Hill will soon have her own signature fragrance.
Faith will join Coty to develop and debut her own fragrance for 2009.This will be Faith’s first fragrance. Coty says it will “capture Hill’s natural beauty, warmth and strength”. We can only assume that means they are going to attach a drill to her armpits and mine for the perfume.
“I had no idea of how exciting and creative it would be to work not only with a great company like Coty, but with some of the leading perfumers in the world," said Faith. "In one respect, putting out a fragrance is like releasing a new album ? you just hope that everyone will enjoy it."
How making a fragrance is like making an album is anyone’s guess. It makes you wonder want strange smells must have been coming out of the studio while Faith was making her last album.
The fragrance will be released this time next year. It will take that long for Coty to negotiate with the Grammy board for a Best Fragrance Category.
However, considering there are 110 categories in the Grammy Awards, many equally as stupid, it is probably going to be highly considered.
