`New York Summer` by Sydney band Mink will soon be heard in the hit US TV show `Ghost Whisperer`.
`Ghost Whisperer` stars Jennifer Love-Hewitt as Melinda Gordon, who sees dead people.The song ‘New York Summer’ came from Mink’s 2007 self-titled album.
Mink will update fans at their website when the show will be aired for Australia.
Meanwhile, they have also scored a spot on the soundtrack for the new Dreamworks flick ‘She’s Out Of My League’, starring Jay Baruchel, TJ Miller and Alice Eve. It is your usual geek meets beauty story.
Mink formed in 2006 and at the snap of a finger had 60 songs to their name.
The debut album was recorded in just four weeks under the guidance of producer Sylvia Massy.
They have played with Angels & Airwaves, Kiss and Perry Farrell, as well as grabbing a spot on Lollapalooza.
Recently, the band also had a slot on Japan’s Fuji Rock.
