Danny Wahlberg nearly went from being a New Kid On The Block to a Dead Kid On The Block.
Wahlberg says he nearly died after falling asleep at the wheel of his car.The 39-year-old singer - who revealed he is "exhausted" after reuniting with the 90s band for a staggering 49 concerts - briefly closed his eyes while he was driving home following a performance last week.
He said: "I nearly crashed my car last week after the show. I was driving from San Diego to Los Angeles and I had been on the road for three hours. I was so tired that my eyes kept closing. Then I fell asleep at the wheel and it was raining.
"I was like, 'Whoa', and I have been quiet ever since. I'm so tired." Donnie isn't the only member of the band to be feeling the pressure of the lengthy tour. Jordan Knight has revealed the group have employed massage therapists to help them stay relaxed during their gruelling schedule.
He added to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "We have got masseuses as you have got to take care of yourselves!"
