British girl band The Sugababes have blamed their record label for poor sales of their latest album ‘Catfights and Spotlights’.
Rather than the fact that British pop bands are lucky to have two albums, let alone the phenomenal run of six that they’ve had, or the fact that every artist in the world has to compete with an unknown Uzbek group with a MySpace account or the fact that it just might not be that good, the band have blamed poor promotion.Heidi Range from the band told the Daily Star, “the sales have been disappointing but I don't think it is a reflection on the album's quality. The problem is the promotion, I don't actually think our fans know we've even got an album out."
Well if you’re a Sugababes fan, they have a new album out.
