Actor and sometime singer Patrick Swayze is reported to have started to farewell friends, following news that his cancer has spread to the liver.
The Ghost and Dirty Dancing star (Roadhouse wasn’t too bad either) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January of this year.He underwent chemotherapy but doctors were not successful in eliminating the cancer from his body.
That didn't stop Patrick from working. This year, he filmed his part in the upcoming TV show The Beast.
According to the National Enquirer, Patrick learned the news that the cancer had spread to his liver. The 56-year old actor has now taken it on to have his farewell moments with his family and friends.
The prognosis for liver cancer is often poor. Primary liver cancer rarely responds to treatment.
Patrick was undergoing treatment for the disease at the Stanford Medical Center in California. His condition has deteriorated in recent weeks.
