Chicago`s noisiest chaos-mongers The Jesus Lizard are reuniting for a show in England.
The shows will coincide with the Steve Albini and Bob Weston supervised remastering and re-issue of their first four albums, ‘Head’, ‘Goat’, ‘Liar’ and ‘Down’, originally and newly released through Touch and Go.The band will be reuniting with the original line up (David Yow, Duane Denison, David Wm. Sims and Mac McNeilly) and have thus far only announced one gig at the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival entitled “The Fans Strike Back” in Minehead, England on May 9 - 10.
According to Billboard, after these shows the band will go on a “limited run” of shows across the USA, believed to end with a November show in their hometown of Chicago.
The band’s last show was in March 1999.
